On Sep.19, Shi Ziming, Chinese Economic and Commercial Counsellor to Malaysia, together with her team, paid a visit to the MCKIP (Malaysia China Kuantan Industry Park) Alliance Steel Mills Project and held an exchange meeting with China funded Enterprises in Malaysia. Necessary preventive measures, she iterated, have to be taken to ensure safety.
Madam Shi went on to visit the rod wiring production site undertaken by MCC Overseas (M) Sdn. Bhd. and inspected the offices, worker dormitories, and cafeteria. After being briefed by the Project Manager---Mr Tang Xiaojun, she suggested that logistics supports, safety measures and public sanitation should be guaranteed. In the meantime, she emphasized that respect should be paid to local traditions and life style in Malaysia to make sure that people of the two countries could work and live friendly and harmoniously. Such efforts, she believes, could help build good marketing space and managing environment and help produce quality “One Belt & One Road” projects.
